Job summary

Home Health of Western Colorado is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide patient-focused OT in Montrose, CO on a PRN basis. The role requires CO OT licensure, at least 1 year of OT experience, and reliable transportation.

You’ll work with a compassionate team delivering in-home care and contributing to a mission-driven environment. Compensation ranges from $48.95 to $53.87 per hour based on experience, with benefits like medical, dental, 403(b), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed in Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Graduated from an accredited OT curriculum or eligible for AOTA certification.
  • Minimum of one year experience as an OT.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy upon written physician order.
  • Supervises OT assistants and rehabilitation aides in direct client care.
  • Plans, coordinates and evaluates OT services, including scheduling, transportation, filing.
  • Performs duties as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
  • Comply with the Colorado OT Practice Act.

What You Bring (Requirements)


  • Must be licensed or registered in the state of Coloardo as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association or is eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements.

  • A minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.


What You’ll Be Responsible For


  • Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy upon the written order of the client's attending physician.

  • Manages and supervises the Occupational Therapy assistants and/or rehabilitation aides in direct client care and client-related activities.

  • Plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates the Occupational Therapy offered by the department (i.e.: assist with scheduling, transportation, filing, and mailing).

  • Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

  • Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in the state.
