Job summary

Home Health of Western Colorado is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve clients in Montrose, CO. This role involves travel to client homes, applying OT assessments and treatment plans, and collaborating with a supportive team in a welcoming campus-like setting.

We offer a range of benefits and a schedule with PRN and Full-Time hours. A valid CO OT license and a year of OT experience are required, along with a valid driver's license for travel between client homes.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or registered in Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum or eligible for certification per AOTA requirements.
• Minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients and provide Occupational Therapy upon written physician order.
• Supervise OT assistants and rehabilitation aides in direct client care.
• Plan, coordinate and evaluate the OT services offered by the department.

Pay Range: $46- $52 per hour based on previous work experience.
Schedule: Offering both PRN and Full-Time (M-F daytime hours)

Travel: This position requires travel to our client's homes. Paid Mileage!

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Must be licensed or registered in the state of Coloardo as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association or is eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements.
• A minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy upon the written order of the client's attending physician.
• Manages and supervises the Occupational Therapy assistants and/or rehabilitation aides in direct client care and client-related activities.
• Plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates the Occupational Therapy offered by the department (i.e.: assist with scheduling, transportation, filing, and mailing).
• Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
• Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in the state.
