Job summary

Home Health of Western Colorado is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Montrose, CO team. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, in-home OT services to clients in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

The position includes travel to patients’ homes with a competitive pay range of $46–$52 per hour, PRN and Full-Time schedules, and comprehensive benefits. Applicants must be licensed in Colorado and have at least one year of OT experience.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or registered in the state of Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy services per physician orders.
• Supervises Occupational Therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides in direct client care.
• Plans, coordinates, and evaluates the OT program within the department, including scheduling and transportation.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Director of Clinical Services and complies with the OT Practice Act.

Pay Range:

$46- $52 per hour based on previous work experience.

Schedule:

Offering both PRN and Full-Time (M-F daytime hours)

Travel:

This position requires travel to our client‘s homes. Paid Mileage!

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Must be licensed or registered in the state of Coloardo as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association or is eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements.
• A minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy upon the written order of the client‘s attending physician.
• Manages and supervises the Occupational Therapy assistants and/or rehabilitation aides in direct client care and client-related activities.
• Plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates the Occupational Therapy offered by the department (i.e.: assist with scheduling, transportation, filing, and mailing).
• Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
• Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in the state.
