Job summary
Life Care Centers of America seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients in a SNF setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver skilled OT services in accordance with the Life Care standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements include NBCOT certification, a BSOT/MSOT degree, and active state licensure; CPR certification is required or obtained during orientation. New grads are welcome to apply; prior experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- NBCOT certification on hire; renewal optional
- Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable state; active license during employment
Responsibilities
- Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (ADLs)
- Establish and modify measurable goals
- Oversee care provided by OTAs and Rehab Aides
- Chart accurately and timely
- Use therapy software appropriately
- Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients
