Job summary

Renewal Rehab in Hastings, MI is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our growing team. This role offers a competitive hourly pay range and a supportive environment focused on clinical education and patient outcomes.

The OT will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, obtain MD orders, and provide comprehensive therapy across settings, maintaining compliance with licensure and NBCOT requirements. A strong residential/home health mix is typical in our clinical partnerships.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., M.A., or M.S. or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA.
• NBCOT certification as an OTR where state mandated.
• Current license/registration to practice in-state as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
• Document findings on the standardized evaluation form timely and accurately.
• Develop a comprehensive treatment plan with long- and short-term goals, frequency, duration and modalities.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Deliver therapy using appropriate modalities and modify treatment as indicated with proper precautions.
