Job summary

Sweetwater Care and Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join an in-house therapy team. You will provide rehabilitative therapy to patients, document outcomes, and collaborate with the IDT to support cognitive and ADL functioning.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing plans of care, supervising assistants, and ensuring compliance with NBCOT/AOTA and state licensure standards. A sign-on bonus is available as noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist provides rehabilitative therapy to patients per referrals.
• Maintains clinical documentation per regulatory and practice standards.
• Adheres to NBCOT/AOTA and state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL disorders and develop care plans.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled treatments and document progress per requirements.
• Supervise therapists assistants and rehabilitation aides as needed.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and complete required trainings.
