Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver therapy services, supervise COTAs, and coordinate patient care across facilities. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, compliance with state regulations, and ongoing professional development.

You will foster positive relationships with clients and teams while ensuring high-quality care, accurate documentation, and adherence to infection control protocols across multiple care sites.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• Holds a current and valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Enhance patients’ functional abilities through direct provision, oversight, and coordination of occupational therapy services.
• Provide clinical supervision and consultation to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Supervise COTAs and Rehab Technicians during individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring proper resource use and compliance with state laws and policies.
• Contribute to the growth and sustainability of a strong occupational therapy program.
• Advance clinical competencies through collaboration, learning, and continuing education.
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in occupational therapy and healthcare.
• Apply knowledge of billing models and guidelines to deliver care that meets standards and outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within facilities.
• Communicate effectively in English for documentation and patient interactions.
