Job summary

Linwood Meadows Care Center in Visalia, CA seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position on our rehab team. Pay ranges from $60 to $65 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, creating individualized treatment plans, and delivering interventions to improve daily living activities, mobility, safety, and independence. This role involves collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Current California Occupational Therapy license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and determine OT needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans.
• Provide interventions focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, and cognition.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families about progress.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary conferences.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home programs and fall prevention.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and supervise COTAs and aides.
• Maintain safe treatment environment and infection control.
