Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Lynn, MA, seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients upon physician referral, following all laws and Life Care standards. The role is full-time, 7AM-3PM, with every other weekend.

Requirements include NBCOT certification at hire, active Massachusetts license, and a BSOT or MSOT degree. CPR certification is required, and new grads are welcome to apply. The position supports a collaborative, compliant post-acute care team.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT/MSOT).
• Active state license; must maintain in good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow OT treatment plans for patients (activities of daily living).
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
