Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Regions Hospital. This role focuses on providing direct patient care to various age populations, including adolescents and geriatrics, utilizing diverse occupational therapy techniques to restore maximum functional ability.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy, be licensed in MN, and possess a BLS certification. The position offers competitive benefits for employees receiving .5 FTE or greater, including medical and dental insurance.

Qualifications

Job description

This position provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of occupational therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

FTE: .675 (27 Hrs. weekly), Day Shift

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• Licensed in MN as an Occupational Therapist
• Registration with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist
• Current certification with the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy within 6 months
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in similar settings/diagnosis.
• Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
