Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate).
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
• Proficiency with applicable state, federal, and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administers and writes evaluations of assigned patients per standards/procedures.
• Maintains timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• Directs support staff to help patients reach functional goals.
• Administers treatment programs to increase functioning.
• Designs therapy for adult learning-disabled patients.
• Instructs patients and families in energy conservation, safety techniques, and transferring routines.
• Develops home programs and guides patients/families in carrying them out.
• Participates in patient support groups with the team.
