Apploi is seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist to provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients, helping them reach maximum performance and use learned skills in daily life and community activities.

Responsibilities include administering evaluations, maintaining records, directing support staff, creating individualized therapy, and teaching energy conservation and safety techniques to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association required.
• Proficiency with all applicable state, federal, and professional standards

Responsabilités

• Administers evaluations of assigned patients per standards.
• Maintains timely patient records and reports.
• Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve functional goals.
• Administers treatment programs to increase functioning.
• Designs therapy for adult learning-disabled patients.
• Provides prevention therapy and teaches safety techniques.
• Develops home programs and trains families.
• Participates in patient support groups with the team.
