Job summary

The role emphasizes evaluation documentation, individualized therapy planning, collaboration with the care team, and coaching patients and families in home programs to sustain functional skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate).
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
• Proficiency with applicable state, federal, and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administers and writes evaluations of assigned patients.
• Maintains timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• Directs support staff to achieve patients’ functional goals.
• Administers treatment programs to increase patients' functioning.
• Designs individualized therapy for adult learning-disabled patients.
• Develops home programs and instructs patients or families.
• Participates in patient support groups with other team members.
