Job summary

Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant Inc seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, and implement individualized rehab programs for residents. The role focuses on fostering independence in daily living activities and improving overall quality of life.

The OT will work within a not-for-profit setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver both individual and group therapies, while maintaining thorough documentation and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Maryland OT license.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans with the care team.
• Provide individual and group therapy to improve cognitive, physical, and psychosocial functioning.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Complete evaluations, progress notes, and documentation accurately and timely.
• Educate residents and families on goals, progress, and strategies.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to team and participate in care meetings.
