Job summary

SUN MAR HEALTH CARE is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing facility setting. You will screen, evaluate and treat patients, develop and implement treatment plans, educate families and document progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires California licensure, NBCOT registration and CPR certification. Full-Time/Part-Time positions available with varied shifts in Cottage Crest Post-Acute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required.
• Licensed as required by state and registered through NBCOT.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the work of occupational therapist assistants.
• Develops treatment plans and provides treatments aligned with benefits and reimbursement levels.
• Documents notes, summaries and reports to support patient care outcomes.
• Screens, evaluates and treats patients to assure the best outcomes.
