Job summary

TransPerfect Health in Augusta, GA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments, develop plans of care, and supervise staff while upholding OBRA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current OT license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• If foreign-trained, degree evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT by an AOTA-approved agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments per state acts and plan of care.
• Help optimize self-care, independence, and quality of life for aging population.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• In collaboration with the DOR, develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties with moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
