Job summary

TransPerfect Health in Luther Ridge Assisted Living seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care for the aging population in a senior living and skilled nursing environment. The role involves screenings, evaluations, and treatments, with emphasis on independence and quality of life.

You will complete timely documentation, participate in orientations and meetings, and collaborate with the DOR to design effective therapy programs.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in PA.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program; foreign-trained must be evaluated as equivalent by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments per state acts and company policies.
• Improve functional self-care, independence and quality of life for aging population.
• Complete required documentation promptly.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Collaborate with DOR to develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow OBRA and infection control procedures.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties with moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the DOR, develop a robust therapy program
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
  • If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency
