Job summary

TransPerfect Health seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered care in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will support residents with OT interventions, document via Net Health, and work under supervision to develop individualized programs.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Ability to complete documentation via Net Health.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and OBRA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders within the OT scope of practice.
• Optimize residents' functional abilities and skills.
• Complete documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising OT to develop programs for residents with required co-signatures and supervision.
• Attend care planning, staff and family meetings as required.
• Assist the facility in meeting state/federal certification and OBRA Resident Right guidelines.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within the Occupational Therapy scope of practice




• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients




• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health




• Collaborate with supervising OT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling COTA/OT co-signature and supervision requirements




• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.




• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines




• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures




• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice
