Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings, ensuring care aligns with state practice acts and company policies. You will develop robust therapy programs and pair with the Director of Rehabilitation to optimize patient outcomes.

You will supervise Therapy Assistants, complete timely documentation, and participate in orientations and education. Competitive benefits accompany a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• If foreign-trained, degree evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
