TransPerfect Health in Augusta, GA is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in senior living and skilled nursing settings. You will document activities in Net Health, collaborate with supervising OT to develop programs, and participate in care planning, family meetings, and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Experience with Net Health documentation is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with supervising OT and care team.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with noted disorders or deficits within the Occupational Therapy scope of practice.
• Optimize functionality and skills of patients.
• Complete documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising OT to develop facility programs.
• Attend care planning and staff meetings.
• Assist in meeting OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines to meet state/federal standards.
• Follow facility infection control policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within the Occupational Therapy scope of practice

• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients

• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health

• Collaborate with supervising OT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling COTA/OT co-signature and supervision requirements

• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.

• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines

• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures

• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications
