TransPerfect Health in Sugar Hill, GA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments, working to improve function and independence for the aging population.

The role emphasizes documentation, collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, and providing mentorship to Therapy Assistants, while adhering to infection control and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible OT license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program; foreign-trained must have degree evaluated as equivalent.
• Ability to obtain state licensure and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments per policy.
• Improve self-care, independence, and quality of life for the aging population.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Collaborate with the DOR to develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties involving moderate to heavy physical demands.

• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the DOR, develop a robust therapy program
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
  • If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency
