Adelphi Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Maryland is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our caring team. You will provide direct patient care, assist in rehabilitation programs, and document patient progress under the physician’s direction.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid COTA license in Maryland.
• Experience with long-term or geriatric care preferred.
• Full-time scheduling; PRN may be available.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Document and record the patients’ condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred
