Job summary

Potomac Valley Nursing & Rehab Center in Rockville, MD is looking for a compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our full-time rehab team. You will provide direct patient care, help implement treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Must hold a valid license and state registration. Experience in long-term or geriatric care is preferred. We offer competitive wages, a retention bonus, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Administer a treatment program with goals determined according to patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
• Document and record patient condition and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
