Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support aging populations in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings in North Carolina. You will perform screenings, evaluations, and treatments, while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current OT license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments per state practice acts and plan of care.
• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for aging adults in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with DOR to develop a robust therapy program and provide supervision to Therapy Assistants as needed.
• Follow infection control procedures and state/federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the DOR, develop a robust therapy program
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
