Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for Village Park West Cobb in Marietta, GA, to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to the aging population in a senior living and skilled nursing setting.

You will screen, evaluate, and treat residents, collaborate with the DOR to create robust therapy programs, and supervise therapy staff, while adhering to regulatory requirements and high clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• In collaboration with the DOR, develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
