TransPerfect Health in Sugar Hill, GA is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings.

You will conduct screenings, provide patient-centered therapy, and ensure timely documentation while collaborating with the DOR and supervising Therapy Assistants.

Qualifications

• Current OT license in practicing state.
• Graduate of accredited OT program.
• Foreign-trained: degree evaluation required by AOTA credentialing agency if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• In collaboration with the DOR, develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
  • If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency
