Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide compassionate care in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will assess, treat, and support aging residents to maximize independence.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document thoroughly, and adhere to state practice acts, OBRA guidelines, and infection control. We offer mentorship, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• If foreign-trained, degree evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• In collaboration with the DOR, develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
