Job summary

TransPerfect Health in Walnut Cove, NC is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for the aging population in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program; foreign-trained must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Collaborate with the DOR to develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
