WeCare at Foltsbrook is actively seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist for our community in Herkimer, NY. Our Occupational Therapist will ensure our residents develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills with physical, mental or developmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing

• Assure all therapy is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care

• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers

• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention

• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Valid license to practice occupational therapy

• BS degree or greater in occupational therapy

• Current knowledge of treatment principles and practices of occupational therapy

• Ability to continually learn and grow in the profession
