Job summary

WeCare Centers is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join WeCare at Sugar Creek in Franklin, PA. You will help residents develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills through therapeutic interventions.

You will plan and administer treatments, document progress, and collaborate with families and caregivers. A valid OT license and a BS or higher are required; experience with ADL assessments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid occupational therapy license.
• Knowledge of current OT treatment principles and practices.
• Demonstrated experience working as an occupational therapist.
• Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADL) evaluation tools.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment to residents to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Ensure therapy is delivered according to an established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment interventions.
• Complete required forms and documentation per policy and regulations.

• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Valid license to practice occupational therapy
• BS degree or greater in occupational therapy
• Current knowledge of treatment principles and practices of occupational therapy
• Ability to continually learn and grow in the profession
• Familiarity with ADL evaluation tools
• Proven working experience as an occupational therapist
