Job summary

Morningstar Residential Care Center in Oswego, NY is hiring a Physical Therapist to join our compassionate rehab team. Pay is up to $45/hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time availability.

You will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with physicians and families to restore function and improve quality of life. NY license required and experience in PT is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PT services in accordance with physician orders and professional standards
• Develop individualized plans of care with clear goals and discharge planning
• Perform evaluations, annual screens, and nursing-requested assessments
• Document treatments, progress, and billing in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Utilize treatment modalities such as E-stim, ultrasound, and diathermy
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants per regulations
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in care meetings, in-services, and ongoing education
• Maintain patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Bachelor’s Degree
