As a Full-Time Occupational Therapist at The Lodge at Heritage Grove Estates (SNF), you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Our mission is simple: "To Make Residents Feel Cared For", and we are committed to providing exceptional care and support.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic therapy team. As a Full-Time Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy programs for our residents. Your expertise will help restore functional abilities, promote independence, and improve overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve identified goals
• Implement and modify occupational therapy programs to promote independence, mobility, and cognitive function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and address resident needs
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety measures, and strategies to promote independence
• Document resident progress, goals, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor 2s or Master a0s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program
• Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Kansas
• Minimum 0 years of experience in a SNF or long-term care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
