Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Occupational Therapist license in Kansas
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility or related setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of OT principles, techniques, and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems
• Current CPR certification

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions, exercises, and activities to improve residents' function
• Monitor and document residents' progress and adjust plans as needed
• Collaborate with physical, speech therapists and nurses for coordinated care
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to care plans
• Comply with federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines

Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team on a contract basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with our residents to help them regain and maintain their functional abilities through therapeutic activities and interventions. You will also collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing support and education to our residents and their families.
