Job summary

Simply Innovative Therapies is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver pediatric therapies across EI and school settings on Long Island. You will evaluate children with developmental delays and sensory processing challenges, and develop individualized treatment plans involving families and educators.

The role emphasizes practical, client-centered interventions in home, school, and community environments, with collaboration across an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Licensed NYS Occupational Therapist.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Pediatric EI or school-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for EI and school-age students.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services in home-based EI and school-based or community settings.
  • Address fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, play, and functional participation.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to support carryover of skills.
  • Complete required documentation including evaluations, session notes, and progress reports.
  • Provide consultation and strategies to caregivers and school staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with New York State and AOTA guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking alicensed OccupationalTherapist (OT) to providepediatric occupational therapy services for Early Intervention (birth–3) and school-age students across home,school, and community settings on Long Island. The OccupationalTherapist will evaluate and treat children with developmentaldelays, sensory processing challenges, fine motor and visual-motordeficits, and functional skill needs. This role emphasizespractical, individualized interventions that support participationin daily routines, academic tasks, and age-appropriate activities.

The OccupationalTherapist will collaborate with families, educators, servicecoordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensureconsistent and effective service delivery across environments.
