Job summary

Simply Innovative Therapies is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide pediatric services for Early Intervention birth–3 and school-age students across home, school, and community settings on Long Island.

The OT will evaluate and treat children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, fine motor and visual-motor deficits, and functional skill needs, collaborating with families and educators to ensure consistent delivery across environments.

Qualifications

• Current NYS OT license required.
• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Pediatric experience preferred; EI or school-based experience a plus.
• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for EI and school-age students.
• Provide direct OT services in home-based EI and school-based or community settings.
• Address fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, play, and functional participation.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to support carryover of skills.
• Complete required documentation including evaluations, session notes, and progress reports.
• Provide consultation and strategies to caregivers and school staff as appropriate.
• Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with New York State and AOTA guidelines.

The OccupationalTherapist will collaborate with families, educators, servicecoordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensureconsistent and effective service delivery across environments.
