Location: Bayshore, NY

Pay Rate: $50–$55/hour

Schedule: Part-Time

About the Opportunity

A well-established preschool program in Long Island is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on supporting children ages 3–5 through individualized, developmentally appropriate therapy services.

The OT will work in a collaborative and supportive environment equipped with a large therapy gym, ample resources, and a newly built sensory integration room.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to preschool-aged children (3–5 years old)
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on findings
• Implement therapy interventions tailored to each child’s developmental needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
• Adapt therapy techniques to support children with a range of diagnoses

Qualifications

• Active New York State Occupational Therapist license
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and sensory integration
• Ability to develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
