Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Sedalia, MO is hiring a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join a Skilled Nursing Facility team. The OT will evaluate patients, create and deliver individualized plans, and help regain daily function and independence.

The role emphasizes one‑on‑one therapy, collaborative care with PT/SLP/physicians, and adherence to evidence‑based practices. Full‑time, daytime hours with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (accredited program).
• Valid state OT license.
• Experience as an OT preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough OT evaluations.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans.
• Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices.
• Educate on strategies to improve function and safety.
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, physicians, and the full care team.
• Document patient progress and treatment changes accurately.
• Stay current with OT best practices and research.
