Job summary

Creekside Healthcare Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and treat residents in a professional, supportive environment. The role offers a salary range of $104,000–$124,800 on PRN/on-call terms with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications include a California license to practice Occupational Therapy and a degree (BS/MS/PhD) in OT. New graduates welcome; one year of clinical experience preferred. PTO and referral bonuses are listed as benefits.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients within scope of practice and federal guidelines.
• Administers and interprets tests for muscle strength, range of motion, and respiratory/circulatory function.
• Provides direct clinical treatment per established care plans.
• Works within an interdisciplinary clinical team.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments as appropriate for discharge planning.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
