Job summary

Pine Ridge Care Center is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan and administer treatments for residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues in a caring, family-like environment.

The role offers a sign-on bonus, PTO, and referral bonuses. Salary ranges from $104,000 to $124,800, with PRN/on-call responsibilities and a commitment to high-quality patient care in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in OT
• California license to practice OT
• One year clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and plan treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems.
• Administer and interpret tests for strength, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provide direct clinical treatment per established care plans.
• Participate in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provide adaptive tools and home safety assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
