Job summary

Sweetwater Care and Rehab is expanding its in‑house Therapy Team and seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a close‑knit practice. The role emphasizes hands‑on patient care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and developing programs to meet patient rehabilitation goals.

We offer full‑time, part‑time, or PRN options with a flexible schedule, health insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant credential required.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines.
• Record treatments and progress notes in medical records.
• Assist in maintaining department and treatment area.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Communicate with supervisor and health team regarding patient progress and plans.
• Record treatment charges per facility policy.
• Instruct families or nursing staff in maintenance programs.

Responsibilities:

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines
• Record treatments given and progress notes in medical record
• Assist in maintaining department
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area
• Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.
• Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility
• Record treatment charges per the facility policy and procedures
• Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance program

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant
