Job summary

Sweetwater Care and Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. We offer a 5000 sign-on bonus and flexible staffing options (FT/PT/PRN) to fit varying schedules.

You will collaborate closely with an IDT, deliver patient-centered care, and contribute to program development in a supportive, family-like environment. Licensed OTAs of all experience levels are welcome as we emphasize teamwork, documentation, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Licensed OTA required or eligible to practice.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a rehab department and team.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines.
• Record treatments and progress notes in the medical record.
• Assist in maintaining department operations.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area.
• Communicate patient progress, problems and plans with supervisor and health team.
• Participate in staff training programs.
• Record treatment charges per facility policy.
• Instruct families or nursing staff in maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines
