Job summary

Sweetwater Care and Rehab is inviting applications to join our in-house Therapy Team, offering a close-knit, collaborative atmosphere where therapists meet patient needs and help shape rehabilitation programs.

We welcome Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants at all experience levels, who will work under OT supervision, document care, and participate in care conferences. The role supports a flexible schedule and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) required or eligible.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and follow facility documentation guidelines.
• Record treatments and progress notes in the medical record.
• Assist in maintaining department operations.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area.
• Communicate patient progress and plans with supervisor and health team.
• Participate in staff training programs.
• Record treatment charges per facility policy.
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs.

Responsibilities:

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines
• Record treatments given and progress notes in medical record
• Assist in maintaining department
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area
• Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.
• Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility
• Record treatment charges per the facility policy and procedures
• Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance program
