Job summary

Proficio Therapy Services in California is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our mission-driven team. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, document findings, and manage discharge planning for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, document findings, and manage discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and track progress for each child
• Develop and implement home programs incorporating perceptual, motor, and sensory strategies
• Provide guidance and training to interns and volunteers within the OT program
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings, with opportunities to lead sessions

Key Responsibilities & Performance Expectations

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, document findings, and manage discharge planning
  
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough treatment documentation and goal tracking for each child
  
• Develop and implement home programs as needed, incorporating perceptual, motor, and sensory-based strategies
  
• Provide guidance, training, and support to interns and volunteers within the occupational therapy program
  
• Participate in staff meetings and in-service trainings, with opportunities to lead or present training sessions
  

Physical Demands

• Moderate physical activity, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs
• Regular standing and walking throughout the workday
• Occasional lifting of supplies or equipment
• Periodic reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and fine motor tasks requiring manual dexterity and mobility
