Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team in Orlando, FL. You will empower residents to regain independence through customized therapy plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited OT program with an active Florida OT license. Prior long-term care experience is preferred; we offer a competitive benefits package and a supportive work culture focused

• Current and active Florida Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on residents' goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to promote independence in daily living activities.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support rehabilitation of residents recovering from illness, injury, or disability.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and safeguard resident confidentiality.
• Promote a positive, respectful environment aligned with compassionate care.
