Job summary

Blue Water Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Florida. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized plans, and provide interventions to improve daily living activities and mobility, contributing to residents’ independence and quality of life.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document thoroughly, and participate in care planning meetings to ensure compliant, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Florida Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

Empower Residents to Live More Independently

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team at a skilled nursing facility in Florida. In this role, you will help residents regain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life following illness, injury, surgery, or changes in health status.

As part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will develop individualized treatment plans focused on helping residents safely perform daily activities and achieve their highest level of function.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.

Preferred

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, post-acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare, PDPM, and rehabilitation reimbursement guidelines.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
