Job summary

Applied ABC is a NH-based provider of behavioral health services seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students in developing motor, sensory, and adaptive skills across learning environments.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and experienced in working with children with autism or developmental delays. This role offers full- or part-time schedules with ESY or year-round options in a small-school setting designed for impactful growth.

Qualifications

• NH-licensed OT or COTA is required.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental delays is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development focusing on motor, sensory, and self-help skills.
• Develop and implement individualized and small-group OT sessions.
• Collaborate with educators, BCBA, and families to support functional independence.
• Integrate sensory regulation strategies into classroom routines.
• Provide staff consultation to support students’ sensory and motor needs throughout the school day.
• Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation.

Who We’re Looking For: Occupational Therapist (OTR/L or COTA)

The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, and student-centered—ready to support learners in developing the motor, sensory, and adaptive skills needed for success across all learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development with a focus on motor, sensory, and self-help skill areas

• Develop and implement individualized and small-group occupational therapy sessions

• Collaborate closely with educators, BCBAs, and families to support functional independence

• Integrate sensory regulation strategies into classroom routines

• Provide consultation to staff to support students’ sensory and motor needs throughout the school day

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school policies

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of New Hampshire

• Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays (preferred)

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Passion for inclusive, strengths-based, and functional skill-building

• Comfortable working in a team-based, data-driven environment
