Job summary

ABC Therapy, Ltd in Ohio is seeking a School Based Occupational Therapist to join our team across Medina, Summit, and Cuyahoga Counties. This unique float position offers flexible scheduling options, including PRN, part-time, or full-time assignments, to fit your lifestyle while delivering meaningful therapy in educational settings.

You will evaluate students, provide direct or consultative services, collaborate with teachers and families, and help students build essential life skills.

Qualifications

• Valid state OT license and NBCOT certification.
• OT degree from an accredited program.
• Clear background check.
• School or pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and challenges related to performance in the school environment.
• Provide direct and/or consultative therapy services to school-aged students.
• Supervise therapy assistants and collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans focused on helping students succeed academically and functionally.
• Monitor student progress, document interventions, and adjust plans as needed to ensure measurable outcomes.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, classroom accommodations, etc as applicable.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
