Job summary

Synchrony Rehab in Hickory, NC is seeking a licensed Lead Occupational Therapist (OT) to oversee daily therapy operations at Kingston Residence of Hickory, a premier senior living community. The role serves as the lead therapist and primary contact, working independently to guide therapy services.

The OT will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care, while maintaining licensure and CPR as applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0–1 years in OT.
• Licensure: Current, valid state OT license or registration required.
• Certifications: CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities.
• Educate patients and families on daily living activities.
• Document progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position serves as the Lead Therapist and primary point of contact, working independently to guide daily therapy operations.

• Schedule: Mon -Fri- No Holidays or Weekends!
• Hourly Rate: $42-48/hr

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for providing a full range of occupational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.

Licenses and Certifications

Must have and maintain a current, valid state OT licensure or registration
