Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team serving seniors in Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will conduct screenings, develop therapy plans, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold current or eligible OT license in practice state.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• For foreign-trained graduates, degree evaluated as equivalent to U.S. OT education by AOTA-approved agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments per state acts and plan of care.
• Develop therapy program in collaboration with DOR.
• Provide supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Adhere to infection control and OBRA Resident Rights guidelines.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and ongoing education.
• Prioritize patient care with sound clinical judgment.
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties with moderate to heavy physical demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies

• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population

• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner

• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education

• In collaboration with the DOR, develop a robust therapy program

• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated

• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines

• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care

• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations

• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program

  • If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency
