Job summary

Driftwood Healthcare Center-Hayward is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide skilled therapy to residents within a professional and supportive environment.

Applicants must hold a California OT license and an OT degree; one year of clinical experience is preferred, new graduates welcomed. Salary ranges from $104,000 to $124,800 per year, with a sign-on bonus, PTO and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by California.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
